Shoppers can now receive Daily Updates on the latest Oasis product arrivals with an option to browse new product offline.

Quirky additions include the 'Shake Your Style' where 'must-have' items are suggested at the shake of your phone or alternatively browse through the entire current Oasis 'Campaign Images' with a click through to recreate and buy the latest look.

The lazy, hazy days of summer

I saw a woman yesterday so perfectly turned out for an early summer day I was put to shame. Dressed in jeans, t-shirt and wearing last years sandals I was not worthy of the sun's blessing.

I'm not known for keeping things, clothes come and go but I can rely on my winter wardrobe for a few classic pieces which always carry me through the season year on year.

Summer is a whole different conundrum. If anything from last summer has survived the cold winter it is unlikely to see the light of day this year. Why is it that summer clothes look all the more jaded the year after. Dulled by the hot sun, stained by creams and lotions and out-moded by the cruel moves of fashion is it possible to have a summer classic?

Of course if I had actually lost those few extra pounds and miraculously managed to achieve an all over healthy summer glow the challenge of creating summer outfits may be more appealing.

And thank goodness for my friend the virtual fitting room, a place which judges me less harshly than my more confident high street counterpart. At least I can shop with ease and discard outfits with a simple click.

I may enjoy the sun but I secretly look forward to cooler days when I can shop, layer and build outfits with ease!

When Bros were famous

Crack open the Grolsch, ripped jeans are back. Errrr I don't think so!

I have a vague memory of their virgin debut in the 80's lost somewhere in the haze of drinking cider in my early teens and my sisters obsession with anything Stock, Aiken and Waterman churned out.

I like to pay good money to be in fashion so why shop for clothes that already look past their best. That's what car boot sales are for. We may be in the throes of a credit crunch but do I really need to dress like I can't afford new.

Buying jeans is my biggest wardrobe challenge. I can spend hours trying on with several repeat visits to the changing room and when I find a pair I like I buy 2. I even hate the first wash, the point of no return when you know your beautifully dyed, perfectly formed jeans take on a looser more diluted hue. I know they will never be the same again.

I can get excited about the return of a classic, updated and refreshed but this one should stay where it belongs, a memory of the past along with Sam Fox, Sinitta and Sonia Albums.

The Challenge of a Mum

I deliver workshops on confidence and self image which naturally attracts lots of women many of whom are mum's. I often hear mum's complain that they spend all of their time and effort on turning out beautifully dressed children that they have little energy left on dressing themselves.

It was the story of a mother of twins who grabbed our attention when judging the Valentines competition at NN4M. Kirsty loves our site and uses it as her own fashion PA to save time and energy better used managing just walking toddlers than shopping on the high street.

Kirsty created a great outfit in Shop New In, choosing a classic and feminine look to enhance her regained waistline. I felt her sense of pride and understood the importance she was placing on looking good whilst managing her hectic lifestyle.

Our inner self esteem is often supported by external factors and what we wear can play a large part in this for some. I guess the challenge of a mum is how to stay in fashion and yet be practical at the same time. If looking good was important pre-birth then neglecting this interest once the baby arrives can have a damaging effect on a persons confidence and self belief.

So Congratulations to Kirsty. Enjoy the luxury of spending every penny of your Karen Millen vouchers on your well deserving self.

I would just like to comment on the entries we received-with no two outfits the same and the full spectrum of romantic dates covered they made interesting reading. In particular I would like to say.....

Fashion Roulette

Do you ever feel at the mercy of fashion?

Waiting for trends to hit the high street hoping that the new season will be just perfect for me is a worry. It feels like a game of roulette and I wait in anticipation to find out where the trend will land and will I be one of the winners.

More lately I have favoured being fashionable not in fashion. It's my belief that unless you are a top model, being a slave to fashion trends rarely works for your average Jo.

So with gleeful smugness I have skipped through this season. I have loved the structure, the elegance, the chic tailoring and clean lines. I do smart well and relaxed not so. Old wardrobe pieces have worked with new and everything I have seems 'en trend.'

I guess we all have a time in fashion history when we can be at our personal best. I certainly have the photo's and friends to remind me of the times when I was not.

So as we approach Spring 09 will the fashion roulette land on your perfect style or do you have to wait until last season comes around again?

What would you do for love?

If your significant other asked you to break the heels off your Manolo Blahniks as a demonstration of your love you may have to think twice.

Removing the brown paper wrapping from a Valentines gift one year I was confused to see my boyfriend's favourite shirt shredded inside. He loved that shirt and looked great in it.

I also found two gifts and three notes.

The note attached to a tiny glass globe read 'if I could I would give you the world.' On note number two, tied to a black cubed box were written the words 'and as a token of my love I give you this ring.' The third note half hidden amongst the fabric proclaimed 'if I only had my shirt to offer you I would give you all I have.'

Money can buy flowers and an expensive meal but true sentiment is priceless and comes from the heart.

So as we approach 14/02 what will you do to show your love?

Magic Shoes

I bought a pair of shoes at Christmas so beautiful I want to display them at home and have them preserved for years to come.

Of course that would be stupid, who am I to deny others of the pleasure of seeing such works of art.

In my previous entry I wrote about the impact clothes have on the way we feel. I think I underestimated the power of shoes.

I have built each outfit this week starting with my shoes. The shoes were key. They have put a spring in my step and a confident stride in my legs and everything has been possible.

I intend to have an exciting year and I need to be in charge of this. Putting myself out there has meant stepping out from my comfort zone. I have said 'yes' to offers I would normally decline and have met people I would normally shy away from. If ever I needed reassurance this week a quick glance at my feet told me that I have what it takes.

Do Your Clothes Match Your State of Mind?

I met a friend for lunch. She's a Personal Stylist and looks good at all times. Normally pristine and professional I was surprised to see her dressed down and casual. Of course she looked great but different.

We fell into a conversation about the new year and within seconds had confessed to having a strong bout of procrastination.

Her new casual look was not just a well put together outfit but a sign of her relaxed state of mind. I should have guessed.

So how important is it to dress to portray how you feel or if you want to shift your state, dress to determine how to feel?

I believe I have a particular style personality, a look that works best for me. I want to be confident and successful and to do this I need the right clothes to work for my body; the right colours to suit my skin tones; and the right style to match my personality. When I get this right, my state of mind is framed and a successful day guaranteed.
